About Me

Hello!

I'm Ben Patridge, "The Data Storage Guy!"

I have been working in Information Technology for over 30 years; almost 25 of those in Data Storage.

I have been very fortunate in my career and have been able to work for several Fortune 500 companies including:

Hitachi Data Systems

IBM

Isilon/EMC

Microsoft

Lucent

Computer Science Corporation

Home Savings Bank

Washington Mutual Bank

Fairchild Semiconductors

AT&T

RedHat

Rockwell

Collective Technologies

Progressive Insurance

VION

As a seasoned IT Storage professional, my passion is solving complex IT and Data Storage Challenges.

I am extremely comfortable with business critical, high pressure, high visibility customer situations. It is in these crisis situations where I feel  excel because I take enormous pride in my work ethic, my ability to solve customer issues, and my results oriented customer reputation.

When working with clients my objective is to use my technical experience to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and workflow of their environment. My approach is direct and honest because I strongly believe in a familial collaborative approach to the enterprise corporate work environment because it is my belief that teamwork and positive relationships allow the company to seamlessly switch gears towards future advancement and profitability.

Creatively problem solving is my forte as I refute impossibility because personal life and professional experience has taught me through tenacity, vision, faith, and relationship building, there is always a way to create opportunity and surpass the insurmountable.

Personally, I enjoy playing guitar (when time permits) and creative writing. Although I have self-published 3 books (Amazon.com) I mostly write or myself. I have a HubPages account if you enjoy reading.

I currently live in Beaverton, Oregon and am married to my lovely wife Tamera.  We share 3 (now adult) kids:  Terrence (who lives in San Diego (31)) Taylor (26), and daughter Kaylie (18).
